Farewell and Best Wishes to Dr. Maumoon Asim

The Maldives Association of Surgeons (MAS) extends its warmest regards and heartfelt best wishes to Dr. Maumoon Asim as he embarks on his journey to Thailand to pursue specialization in Paediatric Surgery.

This marks a significant milestone not only in Dr. Maumoon’s career but also in the surgical landscape of the Maldives. Paediatric surgery is a critically needed subspecialty, and we are proud that Dr. Maumoon is the first Maldivian surgeon to undergo formal sub-specialty training in this field.
