Dr. Mohamed Waheed Awarded Fellowship of the College of Wound Care Specialists

The Maldives Association of Surgeons (MAS), on behalf of all its members, proudly congratulates Dr. Mohamed Waheed on being awarded the Fellowship of the College of Wound Care Specialists.

Dr. Waheed holds the distinction of being the first Plastic Surgeon in the Maldives, and his pioneering efforts have been instrumental in advancing the field of wound care and reconstructive surgery in the country. Through his leadership, dedication, and innovation, he has established modern wound management practices and contributed significantly to improving patient outcomes across the nation.

In addition to his national contributions, Dr. Waheed currently serves as the Vice President of D-Foot International for this session, reflecting the global recognition of his expertise and commitment to diabetic foot and wound care.

This Fellowship is a well-deserved acknowledgment of his relentless pursuit of excellence and his efforts to elevate surgical and wound care standards in the Maldives.
